Listry GAA
Listry GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Kerry, Ireland. The club is based in the east of Kerry just outside Killarney. It is a single sport club - it fields teams in Gaelic football only. The club plays in Div 2 of the county league and in East Kerry Leagues and Championships. Listry is home to the famed Regans of Listry cross. Some say the greatest players ever to don the green and white of Listry. These are the guys who lANTHONY KENNEDYed a golden generation of Listry footballers out of the depths of division 5. Some say the laces of the youngest of the Regan brothers, Donagh are framed and hung in the hub of the local socialites, Faha Court. Donagh can be found outside mass every Sunday signing autographs for youngsters who can only aspire to live up to the football greatness of the man. Donagh recently wrote a tell all autobiography called 'The Man from the Cross' in which he details the highs and lows of his footballing career, how eating the penny sweets he sold helped with his game and how his time on the streets really helped to open his eyes.
