List of current NCAA Division I women's basketball coaches
As of the next college basketball season in 2020–21, 354 women's college basketball programs will compete in NCAA Division I.[1] Each program employs a head coach. As of the 2020–21 season, the longest-tenured head coach at his or her current school is expected to be Kathy Delaney-Smith, who started at Harvard in 1982. Two positions are vacant, with four interim coaches.
Conference affiliations reflect those in place for the upcoming 2020–21 college basketball season.
Notes
- This is Bruno's second stint as DePaul head coach. He had previously served from 1976 to 1978.
- This is Borseth's second stint as Green Bay head coach. He had previously served from 1998 to 2007.
- Before the 2019–20 season, Long Island University operated two athletic programs—the Division I LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds and Division II LIU Post Pioneers. The two programs have now been merged into a single D-I program that competes as the LIU Sharks.
- This is Trakh's second stint as USC head coach. He had previously served from 2004 to 2009.
- This is Cooper-Dyke's second stint as Texas Southern head coach. She had previously served in the 2012–13 season.
