McNeese State Cowgirls basketball
The McNeese State Cowgirls basketball team is the women's basketball team that represents McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The team competes in the Southland Conference and play their home games at the Health and Human Performance Education Complex.

The current head coach, Kacie Cryer, was promoted to her position on April 8, 2016. Before her promotion, Cryer had been on the Cowgirls staff as graduate assistant and then assistant coach since 2008 except for the 2010-11 season.[3]
