List of Total Drama characters

Total Drama is a Canadian animated comedy television series that began airing on Teletoon in 2007 in Canada and on Cartoon Network in 2008 in the United States. The first season, titled Total Drama Island, follows twenty-two contestants on a reality show of the same name. A second season, titled Total Drama Action, began airing in 2009, this time following fourteen (later fifteen) returning contestants. The third season, Total Drama World Tour, began in June 2010, and follows fifteen returning contestants along with two (later three) new contestants. The show's fourth season, Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, began airing in 2012, and was the first season to feature an entirely new set of contestants. The fifth season began airing in 2014, and was split into two parts, Total Drama All-Stars and Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. The first part features contestants from the first four seasons, while the second part introduces new contestants.

A spin-off, titled Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race, began airing on Cartoon Network Canada, in 2016. Like the original series, it follows contestants of a reality game show, The Ridonculous Race. Four contestants from Total Drama compete in the spin-off, while three other characters make silent cameos. Another spin-off series, titled Total DramaRama, premiered in September 2018.[1][2] It features several returning characters from Total Drama and one character from ‘’6teen’’ which includes six males (Duncan, Harold, Cody, Jude, Owen, and Noah) and six females (Leshawna, Gwen, Bridgette, Courtney, Izzy, and Beth).

Main characters

Hosts

• Christian "Chris" McLean (voiced by Christian Potenza) is the first host of the Total Drama series. While in the beginning of the series, Chris prefers to remain out of the challenges and act more impartial, as the series progressed he involved himself more. He becomes obsessed with getting views, and his narcissism causes him to do more stuff focusing on him (such as making Total Drama Action's symbol of immunity be a "gilded Chris award"). He also made the challenges progressively more dangerous, believing it would bring in more viewers. At the end of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, he is arrested for hosting the show at a toxic island, and is released one year later where he immediately starts the next season. At the end of Total Drama: Pahkitew Island, he takes a vacation.
• Chef Hatchet (voiced by Clé Bennett and later Deven Mack in Total DramaRama) is the co-host of the Total Drama series. While not considered the show's official host, he has hosted on several occasions. During the third season, he makes another illegal alliance, this time with Blaineley having approached him. This alliance is much more short-lived, however.
• Don (voiced by Terry McGurrin) is the host of The Ridonculous Race. Unlike his Total Drama counterpart, Don seems to want to remain more impartial during challenges. Also, he seems to show concern for the contestants' safety when in dangerous situations. Although not to the same extent as Chris, Don has shown to have a slight ego, often adding in small comments about his looks.

Contestants

Debuted in Total Drama Island

• Beth (voiced by Sarah Gadon) is a contestant on Total Drama Island and Total Drama Action. She appears geeky with big glasses, a side ponytail, and braces, the latter of which was removed between seasons. She usually is very friendly but has gotten agitated before. She has a fear of bugs, which is revealed through the Phobia Factor Challenge. She initially forms an alliance with Heather, but breaks it off due to Heather's bossy attitude before she is voted off due to accidentally cursing her team with an idol she took from Boney Island. In Total Drama Action, she forms a strong friendship with Lindsay and becomes a finalist in the season.
• Bridgette (voiced by Kristin Fairlie) is a contestant on Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, and Total Drama World Tour. She is a surfer chick and is a vegetarian who is passionate about tending animals, even healing a wild bear in Siberia. She also possesses a fear of being alone in the woods. She ends up hooking up with Geoff after both are eliminated from Total Drama Island (She is eliminated after a hide and seek challenge). She is eliminated along with Geoff during Total Drama Action because of their constant making out, then they become the Aftermath hosts. During World Tour, Bridgette is succumbed by Alejandro into kissing a frozen pole, resulting in her elimination. It also strains her relationship with Geoff, but they move past it and resume their relationship during an Aftermath episode.
• Cody Anderson (voiced by Peter Oldring and later Wyatt White on Total DramaRama) is a contestant on Total Drama Island and Total Drama World Tour. He is a geek that tries to be cool but fails constantly. He has a crush on Gwen, but put it aside to help Trent in the first season. He has a fear of defusing a time bomb under pressure. He was voted off after getting mauled by a bear since his injuries would be detrimental to his team. He, Harold, Trent and Justin became a band known as the Drama Brothers between Action and World Tour. During World Tour, he is freaked out by Sierra's creepy devotion to him, but accepts her as a friend at the end of the season. He makes it to the final three, but decides to help Heather defeat Alejandro after the latter eliminates him and nearly gets him killed by a shark.
• Courtney (voiced by Emilie-Claire Barlow¹) is a contestant on Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, Total Drama World Tour, and Total Drama All-Stars. She is highly uptight and is very strict. She has boasted about being an actual C.I.T which annoys everyone and has given herself an urge to take the leadership role from time to time. She forms a relationship with Duncan, and is wrongfully eliminated in the first season when Harold tampered with the votes, which prompts her to lawsuit the show, that allowed her to compete in the second season when she didn't initially qualify. Despite getting special treatment from the producers thanks to her lawsuit and winning several challenges, she got voted out in the final four. In the third season, she becomes friends with Gwen but both the friendship with Gwen and relationship with Duncan ends after Duncan cheats on her with Gwen. She is later seduced by Alejandro, eventually resulting in her elimination. In All Stars she begins to date Scott and rekindles her friendship with Gwen after the latter breaks up with Duncan, but after the other contestants found out she made a chart to plan their eliminations, her new relationships are ruined as she is voted off yet again.
• DJ (voiced by Clé Bennett) is a contestant on Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, and Total Drama World Tour. He is kind and considerate to others, loves animals, and is a talented cook. In the first season, he befriends Duncan and Geoff and forms an alliance with them, but is eliminated after failing a horror-themed challenge. In the second season, Chef Hatchet forms an alliance with him to make him tougher. However, he decides that being in the alliance is wrong and quits the game. In the third season, DJ develops bad luck and starts accidentally injuring animals during his challenges. Despite his attempts to eliminate himself to save the creatures, he ends up as the last one of his team before losing the game.
• Duncan (voiced by Drew Nelson) is a contestant on Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, Total Drama World Tour, and Total Drama All-Stars. He's a former ex-convict from juvenile detention. He is one of the show's strongest competitors, as he comes in fourth in the first season and was a finalist in the second season. During the first two seasons, he develops a relationship with Courtney, but eventually breaks up with her due to her strict nature. He later cheats on Courtney with Gwen in Total Drama World Tour and begins to date her. In All Stars, he becomes obsessed with getting Courtney's attention and proving to his colleagues and the audience that he isn't nice, which causes Gwen to dump him, and is arrested after blowing up Chris's cottage.
• Eva (voiced by Julia Chantrey) is a contestant on Total Drama Island. She is a strong athlete who lifts dumbbells and has a fiery temper which causes her to be the second one voted off the island in the first season after losing her MP3 player (which Heather secretly stole). She returns later in the season after the teams are merged and displays a strong hatred towards Bridgette for voting her off, but her temper results in a quick second elimination.
• Ezekiel (voiced by Peter Oldring) is a contestant on Total Drama Island and Total Drama World Tour. He is a homeschooled farm boy and is the first one voted off for making sexist comments about the female contestants. In World Tour, he is voted off first once again when he costs his team the challenge, but he secretly stays on the plane and transforms into a monstrous being in the process that Chris begins to use in some of the challenges. In Revenge on the Island, he begins to live at Camp Wawanakwa and develops a crush on Anne Maria. In All-Stars, Ezekiel kidnaps Chris during the 100th episode to get revenge on the host for everything he was put through, but was stopped by Gwen. He escapes and is accepted by the mutants in Boney Island.
• Geoff (voiced by Dan Petronijevic) is a contestant on Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, and The Ridonculous Race. He has a positive attitude, loves people, and is always up for a party. During the first season, he develops a crush on Bridgette and the two become a couple. After being one of the first ones eliminated in the second season, he becomes the host of Total Drama Aftermath, where they interview the eliminated contestants. The fame of the show starts to get to his head, but he eventually changes back thanks to some help from Bridgette and his co-stars. He continues to host the show in season 3, where he's forced to deal with the rude and disruptive Blainley. In The Ridonculous Race, he competes with his best friend Brody as his teammate.
• Gwen (voiced by Megan Fahlenbock) is a contestant on Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, Total Drama World Tour, and Total Drama All-Stars. A gothic girl who does not initially like socializing with others. In the first season, she has a crush on Trent and the two begin dating and begins an intense rivalry with Heather. She eventually becomes a finalist on the first season with Owen. During the second season, she and Trent's relationship deteriorates after they are placed on separate teams and she eventually breaks up with him. She becomes friends with Duncan during the season, which causes his girlfriend Courtney to become jealous. In season 3, she becomes friends with Courtney, but Gwen destroys their friendship by kissing Duncan while he was still with Courtney. In season 5 she dumps Duncan after realizing he still has feelings for Courtney, makes several attempts to mend her friendship with Courtney and is successful, only for their friendship to be ruined again after Gwen finds out about Courtney's elimination chart, and is eventually eliminated at the final 4.
• Harold Norbert Cheever Doris McGrady V (voiced by Brian Froud) is a contestant on Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, and Total Drama World Tour. He is a nerd whose mannerisms resemble Napoleon Dynamite, and is constantly bullied by Duncan. Despite his demeanor, he displays several talents such as beat boxing, poetry, and quick reflexes. After his elimination, he reveals he has feelings for Leshawna and the two kiss before he leaves the island. During the second season, he is initially bullied by Duncan again, but is eventually able to give the ex-convict a taste of his own medicine. He is the first to discover Owen was sabotaging the competition, but was eliminated before he could warn the others. He, Cody, Trent and Justin became a band known as the Drama Brothers between Action and World Tour. In the third season, he quits the show early after causing his team to lose the challenge in Japan and grows closer to Leshawna after the latter was tricked into losing by Alejandro. He is Cody and later Heather's primary supporter in the finale.
• Heather (voiced by Rachel Wilson) is a contestant on Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, Total Drama World Tour, and Total Drama All-Stars. A mean and snobby girl who won't stop at anything to win the million dollar cash prize and acts as the main antagonist during the first season. In Total Drama Island, she initially forms an alliance with Beth and Lindsay that is eventually disbanded and her manipulations result in the eliminations of many contestants. She makes it to the final three, but is eliminated after losing the dare challenge and her hair in the process. During the second season, she wears a wig to cover up her bald head. In the third season, she forms an intense rivalry with Alejandro and eventually develops feelings for him as well. She manages to make it to the final round, but ends up losing the money after she either accidentally gives Alejandro the win or Ezekiel steals it from her. In Revenge of the Island, she attempts to steal the cash prize of the season, but is stopped by the new contestants. In All-Stars, she competes against Alejandro once more, who eliminates her before the teams merge by stealing the immunity statue from her. After he is eventually voted off, the two begin dating.
• Izzy (voiced by Katie Crown) is a contestant on Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, and Total Drama World Tour. A zany girl who is very hyperactive and is a compulsive liar. In the episode "Phobia Factor" She and Owen share their fear of airplanes. In the first season, she leaves early after the Royal Canadian Mounted Police chase her out for a previous incident she caused, but later returns as a contestant after the teams are merged. Before her second elimination, she begins a relationship with Owen. In the second season, she goes by the aliases of "E-Scope" and "Explosivo". In the third season, several blows to her head result in her becoming a genius, and she breaks up with Owen before being taken out of the competition by the military, who plan to put her new mind to work. During one of the "Aftermaths", she receives another blow to the head and returns to her zanier personality.
• Justin (voiced by Adam Reid) is a contestant on Total Drama Island and Total Drama Action. A handsome Hawaiian boy who makes girls, boys and animals swoon when he stares into their eyes. He is mostly silent in the first season. Katie and Sadie has huge crushes on him during the scavenger hunt to find the $1,000,000 cash prize and he is annoyed when they followed him. In Total Drama Action, he displays more of a vain personality and keeps worrying about his appearance. He, Harold, Trent and Cody became a band known as the Drama Brothers between Action and World Tour.
• Katie (voiced by Stephanie Anne Mills) is a contestant on Total Drama Island and Sadie's best friend. They dress alike, but she is skinnier with a tan. She was voted off for causing their team to lose a camping challenge.
• Leshawna (voiced by Novie Edwards) is a contestant on Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, and Total Drama World Tour. She is a sassy, bold African-Canadian girl who doesn't like to be messed with, but can also be affectionate and caring. During the first season, she becomes Gwen's friend and Heather's fierce rival. Though she doesn't reciprocate Harold's love to him, she has shown attraction to him on multiple occasions. She made it to the final five before she was accidentally voted off by the eliminated campers. In the second season, she tricks her team into giving her the spa reward from one of the challenges and bad-mouths the other contestants to her cousin Leshaniqua, leading everyone to distrust her and eventually vote her off. In the third season, she is eliminated early after being seduced and tricked by Alejandro, but rekindles her relationship with Harold.
• Lindsay (voiced by Stephanie Anne Mills) is a contestant on Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, Total Drama World Tour, and Total Drama All-Stars. A beautiful girl who has dyed blonde hair, blue eyes and a large bust and represents the stereotypical dumb blonde. In Total Drama Island, she becomes part of an alliance with Heather, who forces her to various demeaning tasks. She also begins dating Tyler, but has a hard time remembering his name and who he is after his elimination. She ultimately learns how cruel Heather is when the former's actions result in her elimination and finally stands up to her. In Total Drama Action, Lindsay becomes best friends with Beth, who was also part of Heather's initial alliance. Despite placing far in the competition, she ends up accidentally voting herself off. In Total Drama World Tour, Lindsay eventually remembers who Tyler is and the two resume dating. In Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, she made a guest appearance as a judge for a modeling challenge.
• Noah (voiced by Carter Hayden) is a contestant on Total Drama Island, Total Drama World Tour, and The Ridonculous Race. He is very smart, sarcastic, and unathletic. He is voted off quickly in the first season for refusing to participate in the dodgeball challenge and constantly insulting his teammates. In the third season, he is eliminated after expressing his distrust of Alejandro to Owen, comparing Alejandro to "a slippery eel." In The Ridonculous Race, Noah competes with Owen as the "Reality Show Pros", as the two have competed on several reality shows since the third season. During the competition, he falls in love with Emma of the "Sisters" team and the two eventually begin dating.
• Owen (voiced by Scott McCord) is a contestant on Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, Total Drama World Tour, and The Ridonculous Race. A very obese and gassy contestant who loves to eat and has an enthusiastic personality. It is revealed that he and Izzy are both afraid of flying. He dates Izzy until she broke up with him in the third season. Despite the odds, he eventually becomes a finalist in the first season. In the second season, he is eliminated before the teams merge thanks to Courtney. During Total Drama Aftermath, he finds out his mom bought him a cellar made out of various cheeses as a welcome home gift which puts his family $50,000 in debt. Chris offers to help his family out of their predicament and is brought back as a mole to use the other contestants strengths and weaknesses against themselves, but is eliminated after Courtney and Beth find out his secret. During the third season, he unintentionally annoys Alejandro with his enthusiastic personality and constantly calling him "Al", but grow suspicious of the latter after Noah warns him of Alejandro's true nature. After the teams are merged, Alejandro convinces some of the other contestants to vote Owen off due to his popularity. He later competes with Noah in The Ridonculous Race as "The Reality Show Pros", as the two have been on several reality shows since the third season. After he and Kitty notice their teammates are falling in love with each other, they form an alliance to encourage the couple's relationship.
• Sadie (voiced by Lauren Lipson) is a contestant on Total Drama Island and Katie's best friend. The two dress alike and have similar personalities, but Sadie is slightly heavier and with a lighter complexion. Sadie struggled to compete after Katie's elimination and was eventually voted off after she injured Courtney during a trust-based challenge.
• Trent (voiced by Scott McCord) is a contestant on Total Drama Island and Total Drama Action. A guitar player with a relaxed attitude. He has a crush on Gwen during the first season, but is eliminated after Heather tricks him into kissing her and manipulates the other contestants into voting him off. Despite this, he and Gwen eventually become a couple in the finale. During the second season, his relationship with Gwen is strained after they are put on opposite teams. He becomes desperate to impress her to the point where he starts throwing his team's challenges, eventually resulting in his elimination and Gwen breaking up with him. He, Harold, Cody and Justin became a band known as the Drama Brothers between Action and World Tour.
• Tyler (voiced by Peter Oldring) is a contestant on Total Drama Island and Total Drama World Tour. An athlete who loves sports and thinks that he's good at them even though he's uncoordinated. In the first season, he is eliminated after his fear of chickens costs his team one of the challenges. He and Lindsay begin dating during the first season, but after his elimination, Lindsay has a hard time remembering who he is. In the third season, Lindsay doesn't even remember his name until their avalanche challenge. He allies himself with Alejandro, but is eliminated after costing his team the challenge during the Area 52 challenge.

Debuted in Total Drama World Tour

• Alejandro Burromuerto (voiced by Marco Grazzini in TDWT and Alex House in TDAS²) is a contestant on Total Drama World Tour and Total Drama All-Stars. A charming, Hispanic boy who uses his handsomeness to woo the girls as part of his scheme to eliminate them one by one, he becomes the main antagonist of the third season. He eventually makes it to the finals alongside his fiercest rival Heather, with whom he develops romantic feelings towards. Amidst the chaos of the final challenge, he is trampled by the other contestants and burned by lava, forcing him to remain inside the robotic "Drama Machine" for a year to recover from his injuries. He returns in All-Stars, where he attempts to warn the other contestants of Mal's evil nature, but is voted off due to the contestants' own distrust of him. After his elimination, he begins dating Heather.
• Blaineley Andrews O'Halloran (voiced by Carla Collins) is a host of Total Drama Aftermath and was briefly a contestant on Total Drama World Tour. She formerly hosted a show called Celebrity Manhunt, but became a co-host of Total Drama Aftermath after her former show wouldn't accept her back. She frequently clashed with Bridgette and Geoff, leading the latter to trick Blainely into winning the "Second Chance" challenge to become a contestant on Total Drama World Tour she is voted off alongside Courtney when it's revealed she attempted to make a secret alliance with Chef to help her win.
• Sierra (voiced by Annick Obonsawin) is a contestant on Total Drama World Tour and Total Drama All-Stars. A Total Drama fan girl and blogger with a massive obsession on Cody. During the third season, she makes multiple attempts to make Cody fall in love with her, leaving the latter often terrified at her advances. Sierra ultimately places fourth after Chris disqualifies her for accidentally blowing up the plane they were traveling on, but she helps Cody make it to the finale and they become friends in the process. Debuted in Total Drama: Revenge of the Island

• Anne Maria (voiced by Athena Karkanis) is a contestant on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island. A tan, Jersey Shore-esque sassy woman who uses multiple cans of hairspray, she ends up in a love triangle with Mike and Zoey as she is infatuated with Mike's alternate personality, Vito. During the mine challenge, she receives a large diamond from the feral Ezekiel, who has a crush on her. Thinking she no longer needs the million, she quits the show, only to be told by Chris that the diamond is fake before she is eliminated.
• Beverly "B" is a contestant on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island. He is an intelligent individual who does not speak. He is voted off after Scott throws a challenge for his team and frames B for the loss.
• Brick McArthur (voiced by Jon Cor) is a contestant on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island. A military cadet that always follows his creed. Even though he is a disciplined cadet, he often displays a sensitive side that his enemies take advantage of. He is voted off for rescuing the other team in the mines, which costed his team the challenge.
• Cameron Corduroy Wilkins (voiced by Kevin Duhaney) is a contestant on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island and Total Drama All-Stars. An intelligent boy who is physically frail as a result of his mother raising him in a bubble. He eventually makes it to the finale of the fourth season and faces off against Lightning in a suit he designed that is similar to Iron Man. In All-Stars, Cameron becomes the target of Sierra's affections as she begins mistaking him for Cody. During the 100th episode, he is severely injured after he and Gwen rescued the contestants from Ezekiel, resulting in his elimination.
• Dakota Milton (voiced by Carleigh Beverly) is a contestant on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island. A fame-hungry girl who is the daughter of a wealthy man and dreams of becoming a superstar. She is eliminated early in the competition after her desire for camera time costs her team the challenge. She returns to the island to get more screen time, which Chris accepts by making her an intern. After Chris sends her into a mine filled with radiation to test it for the contestants, she mutates into a giant monster that Sam calls "The Dakotazoid". She begins dating Sam after her mutation and becomes a professional wrestler.
• Dawn (voiced by Caitlynne Medrek) is a contestant on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island. She is a wise contestant and nature lover who can read auras to determine peoples' feelings and their futures. She is voted off after Scott frames her for stealing the other contestants' belongings.
• Jo (voiced by Laurie Elliott) is a contestant on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island and Total Drama All-Stars. A competitive jock who's willing to go to any lengths to win. She forms an intense rivalry with Brick and Lightning and makes multiple alliances along the way to stay in the game before eventually betraying them. These return to haunt her later in the season, resulting in her elimination. In All-Stars, while she does successfully campaign to get Lightning eliminated early, she is voted off shortly afterwards for her confrontational attitude and costing her team the challenge.
• Mike (voiced by Corey Doran) is a contestant on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island and Total Drama All-Stars. A boy who has multiple personalities. Among them is Chester, a crotchety old man who appears when Mike is frustrated, Svetlana, a Russian gymnast who appears when athleticism is required, Vito, an Italian tough guy who appears when Mike's shirt is taken off, Manitoba Smith, an adventurous treasure hunter similar to Indiana Jones who appears when Mike wears a fedora, and Mal, an evil personality known as the Malevolent One. In the fourth season, he develops feelings for Zoey, but is afraid to reveal his disorder to her, which Scott takes advantage of to win the challenge and eliminate him. In All-Stars, Mal takes over Mike's body and becomes the main antagonist for the season. Mike and his other personalities work together inside his subconscious to escape and defeat Mal, which they end up doing by pressing a reset button that erases all of Mike's alternate personalities.
• Rudolph "Lightning" Jackson (voiced by Tyrone Savage) is a contestant on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island and Total Drama All-Stars. An arrogant jock who is talented at football and refers to himself in the third person. Despite his lack of intelligence, he makes it to the finale and faces off against Cameron, where his hair turns white after getting struck by actual lightning. In the following season, he is eliminated early after his egotistical attitude annoys his teammates and he costs them the challenge.
• Sam (voiced by Brian Froud) is a contestant on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island and Total Drama All-Stars. A gamer with a generally optimistic attitude. He develops a crush on Dakota and eventually begins dating her after she mutates from radiation exposure. He is eliminated after his lack of physical strength costs his team the challenge. In All-Stars, Sam is disappointed to learn from Chris that the island no longer has any toxic waste, as he only came back so he could mutate like Dakota. He is eliminated after he was caught cheating during the pancake challenge in an effort to save food in case he got sent to Boney Island.
• Scott (voiced by James Wallis) is a contestant on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island and Total Drama All-Stars. A crafty and scheming farmboy who serves as the main antagonist of the fourth season. He continuously sabotages his own team so he could control who gets voted off. He also is constantly chased by the mutant shark Fang after he lost one of his teeth to Scott. In All-Stars, Scott develops a relationship with Courtney, but eventually breaks up with her after she depicts him as a rat in her elimination chart.
• Staci (voiced by Ashley Peters) is a contestant on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island. An extremely talkative girl who is voted off first after she exaggerates about her family and lies saying that they invented everything.
• Zoey (voiced by Barbara Mamabolo) is a contestant on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island and Total Drama All-Stars. A kind, athletic girl from a small town. During the fourth season, she develops feelings for Mike, but finds it difficult to start a relationship due to the latter's attempts to hide his multiple personalities and Anne Maria's crush on Vito. After Mike's elimination, she develops an aggressive persona called "Commando Zoey". In All-Stars, Zoey is warned by the other contestants about Mal's manipulations, but doesn't initially believe them due to their own distrustful nature and her relationship with Mike. After discovering the truth, she competes against Mal in the finale, allowing Mike enough time to reclaim his body in the process.

Debuted in Total Drama: Pahkitew Island

• Amy (voiced by Bryn McAuley) is a contestant on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. An aggressive and contemptible girl, Amy rarely takes responsibility for her mistakes and constantly blames her twin sister, Samey, who she views as the "lesser Amy." When Amy frames Samey for losing one of the team's challenges, Samey is able to convince the others that Amy is her after Amy eats a poisonous apple and loses her ability to speak. After Amy's elimination, she swims back to the island to get revenge on her sister, resulting in both of their eliminations.
• Beardo (voiced by Clé Bennett) is a contestant on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. Shy until he becomes comfortable around someone, Beardo tends to "just make noises and be generally bothersome", which results in him getting voted off first. Although he rarely speaks, he is friendly towards those he meets, albeit slightly annoying.
• Dave (voiced by Daniel DeSanto) is a contestant on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. Seeing himself as the only "normal" contestant on the show, Dave thinks logically about challenges, but is very critical of his teammates. He can be very uptight at times, until he is around Sky, who he has a crush on. When Sky rejects his advances, he convinces the other contestants to vote him off. He becomes Sky's teammate in the finale, but turns against her after finding out Sky was dating someone prior to coming on the show.
• Ella (voiced by Sunday Muse) is a contestant on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. A very sweet girl, she is a fan of Total Drama World Tour and loves singing. This is shown to annoy some of the other contestants, but she is very oblivious when someone dislikes her. After Chris threatens to eliminate her if she sings any further, Sugar convinces her to sing to help her teammates during a challenge before sending Chris an anonymous tip to get her eliminated.
• Jasmine (voiced by Katie Bergin) is a contestant on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. A tall Australian survivalist, she is very outgoing and intimidating, but also cares a lot about her teammates and her crush, Shawn. She plans to use the prize money to open a flower shop and cage-fighting school. She makes it to the final four, but is eliminated after Sugar sabotages her during the challenge. In the finale, Chris turns her against Shawn by revealing how he didn't want to split the prize money with her, but the two are able to reconcile regardless if Shawn ends up winning or not.
• Leonard (voiced by Clé Bennett) is a contestant on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island and The Ridonculous Race. A lover of Live Action Role Playing Games, he dresses as a wizard and believes he has magical abilities, which result in early eliminations on both of the shows he competed on.
• Max (voiced by Bruce Dow) is a contestant on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. He declares himself to be the most evil mind throughout all of history, but in actuality is a very incompetent villain. Max creates many evil inventions throughout the show, but is unable to successfully implement his ideas without the help of Scarlett.
• Rodney (voiced by Ian Ronningen) is a contestant on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. A kind and caring country boy, although he constantly falls in love with any girl for something as simple as warning him about stepping in raccoon droppings. He is eventually voted off when his crushes on multiple contestants causes his team to lose a truth-or-dare challenge.
• Samey (voiced by Bryn McAuley) is a contestant on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. The polar opposite of Amy, Samey is very kind, but timid due to constant abuse from her sister. She frequently attempts to help her team, but Amy constantly takes credit for her actions. Her real name is Sammy, but Amy gets everyone to refer her as Samey. Samey gets revenge on her sister by tricking Amy into eating a poisonous apple that makes her unable to talk, allowing her to dupe the others into thinking Amy is Samey. She pretends to be Amy to remain in the competition before the real Amy returns to the island for revenge, resulting in both of their eliminations.
• Scarlett (voiced by Kristi Friday) is a contestant on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. She is a quiet, highly intelligent girl who helps out Max with his "evil" doings, most of which she suggests, to cover up her true nature while Max does the heavy lifting. When she finds the control room for the island, she reveals she is twisted and psychotic and threatens Chris and the other contestants' lives to get the prize money, but she is defeated and eliminated shortly afterwards.
• Shawn (voiced by Zachary Bennett) is a contestant on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. A firm believer in zombie apocalypse conspiracy theories, Shawn believes he is constantly on the run from zombies. He has a crush on Jasmine, but his unending fear of the undead takes top priority.
• Sky (voiced by Sarah Podemski) is a contestant on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. An aspiring Olympic gymnast and great team player, Sky tries to concentrate solely on winning the million dollars, but is often distracted by Dave.
• Sugar (voiced by Rochelle Wilson) is a contestant on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. An unintelligent yet fearless pageant lover who has various disgusting habits. She develops a hatred for Ella and becomes a major threat to the other competitors despite her dimwitted nature. After making it to the final three, she is eliminated after performing the worst in her talent show challenge by singing a combination of "country" and "rap" which she calls "Craptry".
• Topher (voiced by Christopher Jacot) is a contestant on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. A huge fan of the show's host, Topher is often more focused on becoming the new Chris than the challenges. He eventually steals Chris' phone and attempts to convince the show's producers to allow him to replace Chris, eventually costing his team the challenge. During his elimination, Chris reveals he anticipated this and pretended to be a producer who called Topher telling him he got the job.

Debuted in The Ridonculous Race

• Brody (voiced by Scott McCord) is a contestant on The Ridonculous Race. He competed with Geoff as The Surfer Dudes team. At the beginning of the race, he didn't really take the race seriously. After working with the Police Cadets, he began to get a crush on MacArthur. After being eliminated and brought back by the Best Friends, he and Geoff agree to try to win for them and start to take the race more seriously.
• Carrie and Devin (voiced by Kristin Fairlie and Jeff Geddis) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Best Friends team. In the beginning of the season, they are best friends, however, it's soon revealed that Carrie has been in love with Devin since the third grade, but Devin has a girlfriend. After calling Shelley and found out she is now dating her tennis instructor, Devin begins to go through the stages of heart break. After a while, he realizes he loves Carrie, however she has given up hope of ever being with him. Finally they admit their feelings and begin to date, however, Devin gets severely injured, causing them to have to quit the race. They bring back the Surfer Dudes team to take their place in the race.
• Chet and Lorenzo (voiced by Darren Frost and Carlos Díaz) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Stepbrothers team. Before the race, Chet's mother marries Lorenzo's father, and the two hate each other ever since. In an attempt to get them to get along better, they force them to join the race. At first, it just makes them argue more, however after needing to work together to stay in the race, they begin to form a close bond.
• Crimson and Ennui (voiced by Stacey DePass and Carter Hayden) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Goths team. They have been dating for three years before the race. Once in the race, they put in minimal effort at first, however after their make up comes off, they nearly decide to quit the race before deciding they still love each other even when not goth. While in Australia they adopt a bunny and name him Loki.
• Dwayne, Sr. and Junior (voiced by Neil Crone and Jacob Ewaniuk) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Father and Son team. Junior is usually embarrassed by his father, who tries to act cool and younger than he is. Junior eventually develops a crush on Carrie. Despite Dwayne often failing to impress his son, they end up closer as the race progresses, with Junior appreciating his father's attempts.
• Ellody and Mary (voiced by Emilie-Claire Barlow and Katie Griffin) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Geniuses team. They met a convention where they both brought pi chart pies. During the race they often let their need to plan slow them down, which eventually causes their downfall.
• Emma and Kitty (voiced by Stacey DePass and Stephanie Anne Mills) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Sisters team. Emma is a no-nonsense, competitive law student who is distrustful of others after her last relationship, while Kitty is cheerful and easygoing. During the race, Emma falls in love with Noah, with both of their respective teammates helping to push their relationship forward despite it causing some setbacks for both of their teams. Though Emma initially sees Kitty as a burden, they grow into a competent team as the race progresses and as Kitty helps her sister with her new relationship.
• Gerry and Pete (voiced by David Huband and Adrian Truss) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Tennis Rivals team. They are two older tennis professionals who had a fierce rivalry growing up and decide to compete in the race despite their competitive past. Both often joke and mock each other.
• Jacques and Josee (voiced by Scott McCord and Julie Lemieux) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Ice Dancers team. They are two highly competitive Canadian figure skaters who hate to lose after embarrassing themselves at the Winter Olympics. They become the main antagonists of the season as they typically resort to sabotaging the other contestants in a desperate attempt to claim first place.
• Jay and Mickey (voiced by Lyon Smith) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Adversity Twins team. They are a pair of frail twins who constantly deal with adversity on a daily basis as they were born with many different allergies, phobias, and disorders on top of the terrible luck they tend to have.
• Jen and Tom (voiced by Ashley Botting and Jeff Geddis) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Fashion Bloggers team. As best friends, the two developed a very popular fashion blog and constantly are looking for new styles to try and promote. During the race, they get into an argument over who truly started the blog, but they eventually resolve their differences.
• Kelly and Taylor (voiced by Julie Lemieux and Bryn McAuley) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Mother & Daughter team. Hailing from a rich family, Kelly focuses on desperately clinging to her youth and appeasing Taylor, who is rude and disrespectful towards her as a result of growing up spoiled rotten. Taylor believes she's a strong athlete as a result of being given so many awards growing up, but they were revealed to be given by her father. Kelly eventually takes Dwayne's advice and starts being more strict towards her daughter.
• Laurie and Miles (voiced by Emilie-Claire Barlow and Katie Griffin) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Vegans team. They are nature-loving vegans who value peace and knowledge. Much to dismay, they end up being forced to eat meat during one of the challenges in the race.
• Rock and Spud (voiced by Carlos Díaz and Carter Hayden) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Rockers team. They are two best friends who are part of a garage band called "Devil's Frog". Between the two, Spud is significantly more dim-witted and has a slower reaction time, leaving Rock to put in more of the work.
• Ryan and Stephanie (voiced by Joseph Motiki and Nicki Burke) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Daters team. They are two part-time college students and fitness models who began dating shortly before the race. Despite their initial strong passion for each other, they grow to detest each other as the race goes on and break up, eventually calling themselves "The Haters" team. Near the end of the race, they make up and become a couple again.
• Sanders and MacArthur Escobar (voiced by Nicole Stamp and Evany Rosen) are contestants on The Ridonculous Race. They compete as The Police Cadets team. Between the two, MacArthur is much more aggressive and tomboyish while Sanders is often the voice of reason. Despite their contrasting natures, the two work well as a team and are very competitive, especially against their rivals, the Ice Dancers.
• Tammy (voiced by Nicki Burke) is a contestant on The Ridonculous Race. She competed with Leonard as The LARPERs team.

Supporting characters

Other characters appear briefly to interact with the main cast. These include Chris's unnamed interns, who test challenges before use and serve as Chris's personal assistants; contestants' family members appearing in video messages and calls; special guests from the aftermath episodes of Total Drama Action and Total Drama World Tour; and a variety of animals, from pets to challenge obstacles.

Family members

Various family members are often mentioned in passing by the contestants. The final five in Total Drama Island receives video messages from home sent by their family members (and a friend in Leshawna's case), who appears in the tapes. In the finale of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, both Cameron and Lightning talk to their parents via video chat.

• Leshaniqua (voiced by Novie Edwards) is Leshawna's cousin who visits her as part of a reward. While they're together, they trash talk the rest of the cast, causing them to lose trust for Leshawna upon finding out.
• José Burromuerto (voiced by Alex House) is Alejandro's brother who has bullied him growing up. During the finale of Total Drama World Tour, Alejandro slows down when Heather calls him José, and then again when Cody keeps calling him "Al" (a nickname given to him by his José). He makes his official debut during the boxing challenge, where he fights Alejandro. While at first he is winning, after insulting Heather, Alejandro manages to beat him.
• DJ's mother (voiced by Clé Bennett), refers to as Mama by the contestants, appears to support her son after quitting the competition. She later allows the contestants to use her bus to stop the cast of Total Drama Dirtbags.
• Jerd McLean (voiced by Christian Potenza) is Chris' cousin and has a thick Newfoundland accent that is very difficult to understand, with Chris being the only character to fully comprehend him. Alejandro is also able to partially understand him, but has difficulty figuring out what Jerd was saying. He appears in "Newf Kids on the Rock" and plays a role in the challenge when the contestants have to translate a sentence he dictated. Jerd apparently dislikes Noah stating that he is "as smart as a bag of rocks." Each time Jerd speaks, music from Sea Shanty Mix is played.
• Owen's mother (voiced by Lauren Lipson) tells Owen that she spent fifty thousand dollars on a giant cheese cellar, which excites Owen and makes him want to come home, even though their family is broke from this expense. She eventually tells Owen to come home because his family misses him. She resembles Sadie despite her blonde hair, and is voiced by the same voice actor. Owen does a shout-out to her mother at the end of Total Drama All-Stars.
• Owen's father makes an appearance in his video message from home. He appears to be very proud of his son.
• Heather's mother (voiced by Julie Lemieux[3]), and Heather's father appear in her video message from home. They are seen partying and moving out all of Heather's belongings in her absence.
• Duncan's father and mother are seen with his parole officer in his video message from home. While his mother attempts to show support and reassurance that she loves him, his father questions if they do because "the boy's a criminal."
• Gwen's mother and brother appear in her video message from home where it is revealed her mother paid their neighbor to act as Gwen in her absence.
• Cameron's mother (voiced by Kevin Duhaney) is mentioned in Cameron's audition tape that she is very protective of him. She is later seen in a video call from home in "Brain vs. Brawn: The Ultimate Showdown", where she tells him he has to win to fuel the air for his bubble. She calls her son "Cammy Bear". In terms of appearance, she greatly resembles her son.
• Lightning's father is seen in a video call from home in "Brain vs. Brawn: The Ultimate Showdown", though his face is not shown. He does not appear to be very affectionate, never even turning to look at his son in the video call.

General characters

• Mr. Coconut is a coconut that Owen drew a face on after being left in isolation for too long. After becoming too attached, Chris "eliminated" Mr. Coconut to help Owen return to reality. The coconut doesn't appear again for a very long time, but in Total Drama All-Stars, Mr. Coconut appears in the season intro inside a submerged treasure chest. It also appears again in the season finale. Christian Potenza says that Mr. Coconut is one of his favorite characters in the show.
• The escaped psycho killer with a chainsaw and a hook (voiced by Scott McCord in Total Drama Island and Brian Froud in Total Drama All-Stars) is a serial killer who escapes and ends up at Camp Wawanakwa. Thinking he is part of the horror movie challenge, Gwen taunts him. Upon realizing he is not, she kick him repeatedly in the face, causing him to leave. Chris later use him as part of the fake cast of Total Drama Dirtbags. At some point after he is arrested.
• Josh (voiced by Dwayne Hill) is the co-host of Celebrity Manhunt who interviews the cast of Total Drama Island and Total Drama Action.
• Brady (voiced by Dan Petronijevic) is Beth's boyfriend. He is supposedly a made-up person by Beth to make her seem cool, but at the end of the final episode, he is in both endings followed by Heather saying "Not only is he real. He's really handsome" and Justin saying "Is it not bad enough that this show made me into a goblin? Now I got his 'gorgeousity' making me come off as even more hideous, great." in the original version and "Now I wish I didn't vote for her [Beth]." in the alternate ending. He only has one line in the original ending which is "Oh, was I supposed to bring a prize?"
• Emily's debut appearance is in the episode, "Celebrity Manhunt's TDA Reunion Special" when Chris and Chef are at the airport in the ending. In Total Drama World Tour, she is the main flight attendant who serves the contestants that are in first-class.
• Jasmine is Leshawna's friend who "auditioned" for Total Drama Action, but never competes in the season. She explains that she has attended McGillis Talent Agency, a drama class, and lives in a rough neighborhood on a peninsula, in which she calls it a "Total Drama Peninsula". She is unique because the other videos show family members, but this shows a best friend, which implies Jasmine is like family to Leshawna. Jasmine is the first family-like figure in Leshawna's life to make an appearance.

Pets and animals

There are also many notable non-human characters in the series that serve as obstacles in the challenges while other characters serve as pets owned by some contestants.

• Sasquatchanakwa is a yeti who appears in every season. During the first season, a group of Sasquatchanakwas is seen staring at a sleeping Owen, and later he attacks the contestants after they stay in the woods overnight. During the second season he appears as part of a challenge, and seems to have much more human-like qualities (even talking and using the confessional). He appears as part of the fake cast of Total Drama Dirtbags. During the third season, he is again placed in challenges by Chris to attack the contestants. During the fourth season, he kidnaps Lindsay after he begins to feel insecure. In the fifth season, he is brought to Chris by Zoey as part of a challenge, and in the second half of the season he is frozen solid. In the spin-off, a frozen Sasquachanakwa is seen taking a picture with Kitty, and later a Sasquatchanakwa with white fur appears.
• Bruno is a bear Bridgette rescues after its paw is injured. After helping him, he follows her back to Hawaii where he refuses to let Geoff get too close to Bridgette, attacking him whenever he did. After Blaineley, who is in a full body cast, is thrown into the water, Bruno saved her, and began using her as a chew toy, distracting him from Geoff and allowing Bridgette and Geoff to reunite.
• Fang is a mutant shark obsessed with Scott. After eating him, Scott knocked out Fang's tooth, causing Fang to start chasing him to get it back. At the end of the fourth season, Fang gets his tooth back and mauls Scott. During the following season he still hates Scott, hurting him at any chance he gets. After Mike knocks out his tooth and gives it to Alejandro and Heather, Fang begins to chase instead.
• Larry is Chris's pet Venus fly trap that he left on the island before renting it out to a toxic waste disposal company. During the fifth season, Larry has babies, causing Zoey to question if Larry is actually a Laurie.
• Loki is a bunny adopted by Crimson and Ennui during the race. He often helps them during the challenges, being dubbed by Don as the unofficial third member of the team. He is kidnapped by the Ice Dancers later in the season, and causes Crimson and Ennui to lose the race.
• Scruffy is Duncan's pet spider. He is sent to Duncan from home in "2008: A Space Owen", along with the other cast members' packages from home. However, Scruffy is accidentally killed in the same episode by Harold, when he is smashed while Harold is riding The Vomit Comet.
• Irene is DJ's pet fish that he owns during "Newf Kids on the Rock" and "Jamaica Me Sweat", but then found out that Alejandro is using her to trick him.
• Leshawna Jr. was Harold's pet snail in Total Drama Action. Harold first found her upon waking up in after Duncan puts the snail in Harold's blanket as a prank. Harold then feels an attachment to the snail, due to the fact he believes that she looks like Leshawna, and then stores her in a match box for safekeeping. Later on, Leshawna Jr. is eliminated by Chris so it heads out packing. While Leshawna Jr. travels out into nature, Chris says that if Leshawna Jr. will ever make it out of the film lot before the year 2020. This gives Leshawna Jr. a little over a year left to get there.
• Cody Jr. is a baby condor that hatches out of one of Sierra's condor eggs that she is carrying for the challenge. Sierra then considers Cody Jr. as her and Cody's child because they are "married". However, due to Heather being the first thing Cody Jr. ever saw, it considers Heather to be its mother, much to both Heather and Sierra's annoyance.

Special guests

There are also special guests who appear in the aftermath episodes of Total Drama Action and Total Drama World Tour.

• Ginger (voiced by Sarah Gadon) is Trent's obsessed fan from Sudbury, Ontario. She told Trent that she would have loved it if he "went psycho-crazy" over her, referring to Gwen's dislike of his strange behavior. He looks a bit uncomfortable, whether it is about the subject of him going crazy, or because of Ginger's overly strong crush on him. She resembles Beth to an extent and is voiced by Sarah Gadon.
• Gordon (voiced by Adam Reid) is a furious young man from London, Ontario, who wants to be a chef. He has anger management issues and frequently swears. He attempts to figure out what the secret ingredient is in DJ's food. He seems to be a parody of the world-renowned British chef, Gordon Ramsay, who is famous for his constant swearing at contestants on shows such as Hell's Kitchen and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares.
• Kelsey (voiced by Kristin Fairlie) from Kamloops, British Columbia, is another Trent fan, a bit more obsessed than the last one, Ginger, and possibly proves herself to be somewhat unsound. Her voice actor is unknown as of yet. She has a stuffed doll of Trent that she kissed in the video nine times. Trent is terrified of her, due to her obsessiveness.
• Harvey, from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, asks Leshawna if she is in a relationship with Harold, to which she replies that they are just friends. Throughout the interview, Harvey hints that he has a crush on Leshawna, too. Harvey is somewhat similar to Harold in terms of personality, but has many physical differences like braces, a different pair of glasses, and a different hair color.
• Willy, from Wiarton, Ontario, apparently Bridgette's "biggest" fan, goes on the webcam, at Bridgette's request. Willy, resembling Harvey from a previous aftermath, tells Bridgette that he doesn't want to be too obvious and ask Bridgette about footwear or catching waves. Willy then states that there's something he really wants to know about Bridgette, takes out a pole, and asks her if she would kiss it. This upsets Bridgette and causes her to snap.

Mike's alternate personalities

• Chester (voiced by Corey Doran) is an old man personality who appears whenever Mike is frustrated. He seems to have no respect for Mike, constantly making fun of him when in control of the body. After Mike beats his personalities, Chester begins to respect him more, and later teams up with him to stop Mal. Eventually, he is wiped from existence with the other personalities.
• Svetlana (voiced by Corey Doran) is a Russian gymnast who appears whenever Mike is unable to complete a physical challenge. She seems to dislike that Mike is in control of the body the most, but after Mike beats his personalities, grows to respect him. She later teams up with Mike to stop Mal, and eventually is wiped from existence with the other personalities.
• Vito (voiced by Corey Doran) is a parody of "The Situation" from Jersey Shore who appears whenever Mike is shirtless. He seems to give Mike the most problems when he begins dating Anne Maria, despite Mike dating Zoey. After Mike beats his alternate personalities, he gains respect for him. Eventually, he is wiped from existence after teaming up to help Mike to defeat Mal.
• Manitoba Smith (voiced by Corey Doran) is a parody of Indiana Jones who appears whenever Mike puts on a fedora. He often flirts with the female contestants. After Mike beats his alternate personalities, he seems to respect him. Later he teams up with Mike to stop Mal, and is wiped from existence in the process.
• The Malevolent One "Mal" (voiced by Corey Doran) is Mike's secret fifth personality. He is able to take control of the body seemingly randomly, but gains full control of the body. After trapping all the other personalities in his head, they team up under Mike's leadership to stop Mal, and eventually, they successfully wipe him from existence.

Interns

Across the entire series, the interns help out Chris with the competition by testing out the challenges before the main competitors use them, and they act as Chris' personal assistants and slaves who do the maintenance work that Chris doesn't want to do.

• In Total Drama Island, the main intern starts as a pizza delivery guy who is later hired. In the finale, a new intern is hired.
• In Total Drama Action, the pizza delivery guy appears once again along with a larger intern. Another blonde intern appears as the season's main intern. Additionally, several interns' arms are seen applying makeup to the contestants in the confessional.
• In Total Drama World Tour, the blonde intern returns, along with two new burly interns, as the main interns. Several interns with the same or similar design as the blonde intern are also seen, as well as a female intern. Starting in this season, all the interns wear shirts similar to Chris's.
• In Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, four new interns appear. One who is short and chubby, one with long black hair, a female intern, and an intern named Josh. Dakota also briefly works as an intern, before returning to the competition. Josh ends up falling into the toxic waste, causing him to no longer work for the show. The other three interns stay on as the main interns in Total Drama All-Stars and Total Drama: Pahkitew Island.
• In Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race, Don mentions an intern named Andrew died while testing the first challenge.

Other characters

• An eskimo appears in the first season after a mound of snow and a sled falls on Courtney, followed by the eskimo falling on the sled. He appears as part of the fake cast of Total Drama Dirtbags. In the spin-off, he is shown with a female eskimo, and the two kiss.
• The mime is a character that Trent has to face in the phobia challenge. After jumping in the water, Trent convinces him to leave, stating his make-up would run. He appears in exclusive clips in both the third and fifth seasons, and during the spin-off he steals the Best Friends's travel tip.
• The ninjas appear in the phobia challenge as Harold's fear.
• There are many bears that appear in the series, but the most notable one is the brown bear that appears many times throughout the season, mostly scaring the contestants. Izzy has appeared in a brown bear costume as part of a prank. There is also a polar bear that appears in the Yukon and a black bear calls Bruno, who is Bridgette's best friend.
• A sumo wrestler appears in the phobia challenge as Heather's fear. During the third season, two sumo wrestlers are seen in an exclusive clip when Harold lands in one of their loin cloths.
• The Canadian military are characters who extract Izzy after she becomes smart in the third season.
• The Canadian government are characters who appear in the fourth season and attempt to arrest Chris, which they successfully do at the end of the season.
• An elderly Chinese woman gives Sierra advice and also "love me tea", which Sierra uses on Cody and accidentally poisons him.
• A fireworks salesman gives Sierra fireworks for free to help Cody win in the third season.
• Guards are seen outside the London tower. As part of the challenge, the contestants must strip the guards and find the clue hidden in their clothes.
• Throughout the series, various sharks appear in the water-based challenges to scare away the contestants.
• The Hawaiian natives appear in the finale of the third season to warn them about throwing pineapples into the volcano. They are seen again in a cameo in the spin-off.
• The Zing-Zings are a group of natives in the Amazon rainforest. They capture Heather, replacing her missing tooth with a gold tooth. It is revealed they are actors filming a scene.
• Erin Tapley (voiced by Erin Tapley) is a fan who interviews Chris in an exclusive clip.[4]
• The butler is a character who works at the McLean Spa Hotel during the fifth season. He often brings the contestants what they want in a matter of seconds.
• Chris's promo bots (voiced by Christian Potenza) are robots of Chris that he uses to promote the show instead of going to each location himself. After Scarlett takes over the island, she makes the promo bots attack the other contestants, prompting Shawn to destroy them.

Area 51

• Aliens appear at Area 51 in Total Drama World Tour. They attack Alejandro and Tyler, and return in an Aftermath episode, when they attack Noah.
• Area 51 soldiers appear when the cast brake into Area 51, attempting to hunt down the contestants.
• Cody's clones are clones of Cody that appear after he touches an alien pod.
• The Colonel of the United States Military is Chris's friend who allows him access to use Area 51 as a challenge.
