List of Sites of Special Scientific Interest in Lincolnshire
This is a list of Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs) in Lincolnshire. The English counties were revised under the 1974 reorganisation of local government, and were further revised in the 1990s. Natural England, which maintains the database of English SSSIs, did not update the counties to reflect changes after 1974 until around 2015. This list has not yet been updated, so some sites you may expect to find here could therefore be in the Humberside list.
This list features 76 SSSIs notable for their biology, fourteen notable for their geology and two notable for both. Five of the SSSIs include national nature reserves, four are Ramsar Wetland sites, and two are EU Special Protection Areas.[1]
For other counties, see List of SSSIs by Area of Search.
