List of Memphis Redbirds seasons

The Memphis Redbirds Minor League Baseball team has played 22 seasons since being established as an expansion team of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League (PCL) in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1998. As of the cancellation of the 2020 season, the club has played in 3,140 regular season games and compiled a win–loss record of 1,583–1,557 (.504).[1] They have qualified for the postseason on six occasions and have a postseason record of 29–20 (.592).

As the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, their only major league parent club, Memphis has won six division titles, five conference titles, three Pacific Coast League championships, and one Triple-A National Championship.[2] After incurring second and third-place finishes in their first two years of competition, the Redbirds won their first PCL title in 2000. Over the next eight seasons, the club regularly placed third or fourth (last). They won a second league championship in 2009 and made an appearance in the 2010 finals, but were defeated. Memphis qualified for the postseason just once from 2011 to 2016 before winning back-to-back PCL championships in 2017 and 2018. The 2018 Redbirds also won the Triple-A National Championship.

Memphis' best season record occurred in 2017, when they finished 91–50 (.645). Their lowest record was 57–87 (.369) in 2012.

Notes

1. The Redbirds finished the season tied for first-place with the Iowa Cubs. The division title was decided by means of a tiebreaker (having a better regular season record against opponents in their division).[5][6]
2. The 2020 season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic with no games played.[12]
