Line 2 (Dalian Metro)
Line 2 of the Dalian Metro (M2; Chinese: 大连地铁2号线; pinyin: Dàlián Dìtiě Èr Hào Xiàn), is a rapid transit line running in a "c" shape in central Dalian. The line was first opened on 22 May 2015.[2] Currently, the line is 25.74 km (15.99 mi)[1] long with 21 stations.

In October 2017, most station names were re-translated from Pinyin into conventional English.
A 11.75 km (7.30 mi) extension from Xinzhaizi to Dalian North Railway Station (8 stations) is under construction and is scheduled to open in 2021.[1]
