Legislature of Corrientes
The Legislature of Corrientes (Spanish: Legislatura de la Provincia de Corrientes) is the local legislature of the Argentinian province of Corrientes. It is a bicameral body, comprising the Chamber of Deputies of Corrientes, and the Senate of Corrientes. It is one of eight bicameral legislatures in the country.[2][3]

It is elected by a general provincial proportional representation and renewed every 2 years by electing a new half of each house. Each representative serves a four-year term, each senator serves six years. Legislature members directly represent the people of the Province in a single district. The Provincial Constitution denotes their legislative powers.
The Legislature meets in the provincial capital.
