Lü (state)
Lü (simplified Chinese: 吕; traditional Chinese: 呂; pinyin: Lǚ) was a Zhou dynasty vassal state in present-day central China in the early years of the Spring and Autumn period (722-481 BC).

Origin
As the rulers of the four states of Qi, Xu, Shen and Lü all had the surname Jiang (姜), they claimed a common ancestry.[1]
gollark: Opposing it got considered "green" somehow by the magic of political dimensionality reduction and if that hadn't happened it might be more popular.

gollark: Solar panels, though, aren't great for anything but small off grid systems: they take up tons of space, require large amounts of energy to produce in the first place, stop working after a few decades, and don't produce power all the time.
