Demographics
A village with around 350 homes and 1000 people. mostly depending on agriculture. Sri Bagavathi amman and Sri Muthaalamman temple are famous one. Having one high school, and primary school. This is the native place of the well known philanthropist Sri R. Thirupathiswami founder of Samba Publishing Company and RATHNASWAMY SPINNERS (P) Ltd., The above temples are reconstructed newly, with a major help from him.
