Kota Batu, Brunei-Muara
Kota Batu is a mukim (subdistrict) in the Brunei-Muara District of Brunei. It is located on the southeastern part of the Brunei-Muara District, bordering the mukims of Mentiri to the north and Lumapas to the south and west, Kianggeh and the Kampong Ayer mukims to the west, as well as the Brunei Bay to the east and Pulau Limpaku Pinang in Limbang in Sarawak, Malaysia, to the east.

Geography
Kota Batu is separated across Pulau Berambang by the Brunei River that flows from the Brunei Bay towards Mukim Kianggeh, Mukim Lumapas and the water village mukims. Incidentally, Pulau Berambang is a part of Mukim Kota Batu. There are several islands in the Brunei Bay that are included within the Mukim of Kota Batu which include Pulau Sibungor, Pulau Berambang, Pulau Berbunut, Pulau Baru-Baru, Pulau Chermin, Pulau Kaingaran and Pulau Pepatan.
Administration
Kota Batu is administered as a mukim, the second-level administrative division of Brunei.[1] It is one of the mukims or subdistricts in Brunei-Muara District. Kota Batu is also subdivided into villages (Malay: kampung or kampong), the third- and lowest-level subdivisions, which include:[1]
A few of the villages are also part of Bandar Seri Begawan municipal area, namely Belimbing, Kota Batu, Pelambayan, Pintu Malim, Subok and Sungai Lampai.[2]
