Klaudia Tanner
Klaudia Tanner (born 2 May 1970) is an Austrian People's Party politician who has served in the Second Kurz government as Minister of Defense since January 2020.[1][2] From 2011 to 2020 she worked as the General Manager of Austrias political farmers' association.

Personal life
Tanner was born in the small town of Scheibbs in Lower Austria, her residence is in the Marktgemeinde Gresten. She is married and has a daughter.
Political career
Tanner was appointed as Minister of Defense by Chancellor of Austria, Sebastian Kurz, making her the first woman to hold the position.[3][4]
