Kikokugai: The Cyber Slayer (鬼哭街 -The Cyber Slayer-) is a Japanese cyberpunk visual novel by Nitroplus. It's Nitroplus' third game, and the script is written by Gen Urobuchi.

The game was remade in 2011 with enhanced graphics, a new theme song, and character voices added.

The 2011 version is also rated for ages 15 and up instead of the original game's 18+ rating.[1][2]

Plot

Kikokugai takes place in Shanghai, in a dystopian future of organized crime and cyborg assassins.[2][3]

gollark: I mean, assuming you have a student loan or whatever, then you do not technically owe them money, you owe some loan agency money.

gollark: I wouldn't trust their random installer. It is probably installing root certificates so they can spy on all your traffic.
gollark: I've got a Wileyfox Swift 2 (because it was cheap & has reasonably available custom ROMs), with a 5" screen. As it turns out, it is quite hard to use it one handed, as phone keyboards are evil.
