Kak clan

Kak is an Indian name (Kashmiri Brahmin surname) for a community originated in Kashmir. It is a subgroup of saraswat pundits of kashmir valley. Originally, they were groups of bandits and thieves locally called Kaks (elder brother or Bhai) which later on developed into a full fledged surname.
