Kafr Naya

Kefer Neye[1] (Turkish: Kefer Neye, Arabic: كفر نايا) or Kafr Naya (Arabic: كفرنايا, romanized: Kafar Naya) is a town in northern Aleppo Governorate, northwestern Syria. Located north of Aleppo, the town is administratively part of Nahiya Tell Rifaat in A'zaz District. Nearby localities include Mayer to the southwest. In the 2004 census, Kafr Naya had a population of 5,647.[2]

Kafr Naya was captured by the Syrian Democratic Forces on 15 February 2016,[3] bringing it into the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

gollark: Do I need to switch it to binary mode and is there a way around the only reading by bytes thing?
gollark: I'm doing this with `"w"` and `"r"` mode instead of actual binary ones, because it's worked before and because `"wb"` and whatever seemingly only allow reading by bytes which would be really inconvenient.
