KTES-LD
KTES-LD, virtual channel 40 (UHF digital channel 26), is a low-powered MeTV-affiliated television station licensed to Abilene, Texas, United States. Owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group, it is a sister station to Sweetwater-licensed ABC affiliate KTXS-TV, channel 12 (and its San Angelo-licensed satellite KTXE-LD, channel 12). The two stations share studios on North Clack Street in Abilene and transmitter facilities near Trent, Texas. In addition to its own digital signal, KTES-LD is simulcast in standard definition on KTXS-TV's and KTXE-LD's third digital subchannels.

History
The station was founded in 1995. It previously carried Telemundo, but switched to This TV on September 1, 2010.[1] Telemundo programming moved to KTAB-DT2 in 2014.

gollark: I'm sure devices these days are powerful enough to run some sort of asymmetric cryptography to verify signatures on commands.
