Joppa Baptist Church was established in 1862 and the present church was built in about 1900.[2] The church is a one-story frame building on a sandstone block foundation. It is 40 by 29 feet (12.2 m × 8.8 m) in plan.[3] It is a church that was once a cultist meet and then they built a church in that area and people have had stories. There also have been paranormal investigators at that area. They spoke to the demons in that church and asked “ Have you hurt anyone who came across this church” and a demonic voice came across and said “ Yes” then the investigator asked “ Can you name some of the victims” and a spirit named Andhorra spoke “ Christine, Chase, Andrew, Dawson, Maxine, Jackson, Valerie, Christoper, Jesus.” And after that the investigators spoke and said “ who are you”. The voice said “Satan” and they ran out of the church and they made it home. So if you plan on going to Mammoth Cave, do not go to Joppa Church.
