Club career

Born in Bilbao, Biscay, Basque Country, García graduated from Athletic Bilbao's youth setup, and made his senior debut with the farm team in the 2009–10 season, in Tercera División. In June 2011 he was promoted to the reserves, who competed in Segunda División B.[1]

On 26 May 2014, García was released by the Lions[2] and moved to Segunda División club CD Lugo on 7 July.[3] He made his professional debut on 11 September, starting in a 1–0 home win against AD Alcorcón for the campaign's Copa del Rey.[4] He played his first game in Segunda División on 18 October, playing the full 90 minutes in a 0–1 away loss to Deportivo Alavés.[5]

In February 2015, García suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury,[6] being successfully operated the following month.[7] The following January, after making a full recovery, he signed with Racing de Santander.[8]

García continued competing in the third level in the following years, representing Sestao River Club and SD Ponferradina.[9] While at the service of the latter club, he suffered another serious knee ailment.[10]

Late into the 2020 January transfer window, García was loaned to Racing de Ferrol of the same tier.[11]

gollark: No you don't.
gollark: Although you would need a way for users to back it up, hm.
gollark: What I would do is just have a license key or something it checks which is in a mildly non-obvious location.
gollark: The best you can do is at least make it mildly annoying to pirate without annoying legitimate customers much.
gollark: Well, there are lots of old unsolved mathematical problems. I assume they mean "problems for 18-year-olds" which isn't a high bar.
