History
Ro-62 was laid down on 8 September 1922 at the Kobe Shipyard of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and launched on 19 September 1923.[1] On 24 July 1924, she was completed and attached to the Maizuru Naval District as part of Submarine Division 33.[1][2]
