International Staff
The International Staff (IS) is a body situated at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO) headquarters (HQ) that provides advice, guidance and administrative support to the national delegations and the North Atlantic Council (NAC).[1]
The NATO Military Command Structure consists of two strategic commands directed by the North Atlantic Council:[2]
- Liaison: Provides advice and support to the NAC
