International Day of Families

The International Day of Families is observed on the 15 May every year. The Day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1993 with resolution A/RES/47/237 and reflects the importance the international community attaches to families. The International Day provides an opportunity to promote awareness of issues relating to families and to increase knowledge of the social, economic and demographic processes affecting families.[1][2]

gollark: And? People only have so much attention.
gollark: It isn't as if you could deploy 100 times the fake news sites somehow and make the news 100 times faker.
gollark: Why would slightly better fake news generation suddenly cause a massive upsurge? They have smaller GPT models *now*.
gollark: Not enough for a huge impact? Have you *not* already heard of people going on about the big issues with fake news?
gollark: And? There are lots now.
