Independents Day (album)

Independents Day is the sixth studio album by American hip hop duo Twiztid. Released on July 3, 2007, it features guest appearances from rappers signed to independent record labels, such as The Dayton Family, Tha Dogg Pound, Hed PE frontman Jared Gomes, Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko. It also notably features appearances by DJ Quik and D12 members Proof and Bizarre. One of the group's members, Eminem, had feuded with Psychopathic Records founders Insane Clown Posse.[2] The album peaked at #4 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart, and at #57 on the Billboard 200. Independents Day ninth track "How I Live" was the final song of D12 fallen member Proof.[3]

The album's credits featured a number of mistakes. For example, the titles of the album's final two tracks were switched, and the names of Bizarre and DJ Quik are misspelled as Bizzar and DJ Quick, which, as AllMusic's David Jeffries wrote, "[Ruins] the Blood member's lifelong avoidance of anything that could be short for 'Crip Killer.' [...] It's a metaphor for how well Twiztid blend with their true hip-hop brothers and how much better off they are going for local juggalos like their mentors ICP plus Blaze Ya Dead Homie and their neighbors from the north, the Dayton Family."[2]

gollark: It's mildly easier to read and more extensible.
gollark: Just rewrite all the tools which deal with this in Rust and use a toml library.
gollark: ```toml[username]id = 1000datathing = "ææææ"home = "/home/username"```or```toml[1000]username = "bees"home = "/whatever```
gollark: * obviously yes
gollark: Maybe all this data should just be a single SQLite file. That would be neat.
