IROC XV

The fifteenth year of IROC competition took place in 1991. IROC XV was the second year the Dodge Daytona was used in competition, and continued the format introduced in IROC VIII. Race one took place on the Daytona International Speedway, race two took place at Talladega Superspeedway, race three ran at Michigan International Speedway, and the year finished at Watkins Glen International. Rusty Wallace won the series championship, and took home $175,000 for his efforts.

Notes

Tom Kendall did not start the last two races due to injury, and was awarded last place points.
Al Unser, Jr. started in a backup car from 11th position after a first lap accident.
This was also the last time a road course was used in IROC competition until the final edition in 2006.

gollark: This part of the program is particularly great.

gollark: Well, my code is generally kind of unpleasant, but this particular bit is fine.

gollark: This is "Rust" "code". It has a perfectly reasonable amount of symbols.

gollark: It also doesn't have generics, so I can't make a smart pointer which works for any type without `void*`, which is type-unsafe.

gollark: If I make my own smart pointers, then I'm pretty sure I have to manually sprinkle my code with macrons/function calls to do things to them, because the macros are bad token substitution things and not powerful enough to add them appropriately.
