Structure
The current corporate structure, Hunter Douglas N.V., was formed in the Netherlands Antilles in 1971 as a result of a restructuring of the previous Canadian entity, Hunter Douglas Ltd.[3][4] For tax reasons, investors could select either common or preferred shares through 1990. The company operated in 75 countries at that time.[5]
