Heaven: To the Land of Happiness

Heaven: To the Land of Happiness (Korean: 헤븐: 행복의 나라로; RR: Hebeun: Haengbokeui Nararo) is an upcoming South Korean drama film directed by Im Sang-soo, starring Choi Min-sik and Park Hae-il. It was selected to be shown at the 2020 Cannes Film Festival.[1][2][3] The project has been initially intended to become a remake of the 1997 German film Knockin' on Heaven's Door. However, director Im changed a lot and wrote his own script, so that Knockin' on Heaven's Door is rather considered as inspiration and not as a remake.[4]
