Hardwick, County Durham
Hardwick is a large housing estate in Stockton-on-Tees postcode TS19. Situated around North Tees Hospital, it is one of Stockton's largest housing estates, with just under 7,000 residents, measured at 6,881 in the 2011 census[2]

Hardwick is bordered by Bishopsgarth to the west, Harrowgate Lane to the north, Roseworth to the east and Newtown and Grangefield to the south.
Hardwick forms part of the Stockton North parliamentary constituency.
In September 2003, 200 houses on the estate were earmarked for demolition which as of May 2012 is now complete, with a new number of buildings now built in their place.[3] These developments include Meadow Rise and Hardwick Green built by such companies as Keepmoat, Bellway, Barratt Homes etc.
Situated on Hardwick is The University Hospital of North Tees (formerly North Tees General Hospital). The University Hospital of North Tees is a general hospital in Stockton-on-Tees, England. It is part of the North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and provides healthcare to people living in southeast Durham.
There are a number of community based associations including Hardwick in Partnership [4] which will run the community centre from 2014,[5] Phoenix Youth Service and Hardwick Residents association.
Hardwick is an increasingly diverse area of Stockton-on-Tees. There is a significant Filipino community of which many are employed at the hospital.
Hardwick has significant levels of social and economic deprivation.
