Hammer, South Dakota
Hammer is an unincorporated community in Roberts County, in the U.S. state of South Dakota.[1]
History
A post office called Hammer was established in 1915, and remained in operation until 1973.[2] The community was named after Gunder and Iver Hammer, the original owners of the town site.[3]
gollark: I don't think most individuals actually have stuff which needs that much scaling?
gollark: It does seem like basically nobody does this. Maybe it's assumed it would take too much developer time.
