History

The church was consecrated on 11 September 1960 by the Bishop Ragnvald Indrebø. The Norsk Aluminium Company (NACO) was responsible for the construction and gave the church for free to the community. The Mayor Albert Hellem thought that the church's gift was the greatest thing that had happened to Høyanger, second only to the actual start of the industry.[3]

gollark: For context: about 1/5 of my scroll consists of ones valid under my *existing* scheme.

gollark: Since there are lots of those, I may consider requiring >=2 letters.
gollark: Yep!
gollark: Yes, but I'd only include it if there was another 1 or 2-letter symbol in its code.
