Grace Prendergast

Grace Prendergast (born 30 June 1992) is a New Zealand rower. She is a national champion, an Olympian, a four-time world champion and a current (2019) world champion in both the coxless pair and the women's eight.

Prendergast won the gold medal in the coxless four at the 2014 World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam.[2] With the women's eight, she came fourth at the 2016 Rio Olympics.[3] At the 2017 New Zealand rowing nationals at Lake Ruataniwha, she partnered with Emma Dyke in the premier women's pair and they became national champions.[4] At the 2017 World Rowing Championships, she became world champion in the women's pair partnered with Kerri Gowler.[5] Prendergast and Gowler regained that title at the 2019 World Rowing Championships in Linz Ottensheim.
