Name

Golišče was attested in historical sources as Guletsch in 1406, Guleͣtsch in 1407, and Golitsch in 1444.[4][5] The name of the village is probably derived from the verb goliti in the sense of 'to clearcut', referring to a place that was clearcut. Other possibilities are derivation from gol 'young tree trunk' or 'bare, unforested area'.[5]

gollark: I have parts of the EATW source from someone, but not much and it's in PHP (*ewww*).
gollark: I had a hatchery (briefly) based on a similar system using some data from it, but TJ09 shut it down.
gollark: ARing is easy enough and works without it being yours, but you need UVs.
gollark: An interesting idea. If you ever do actually want that, tell me and I should be able to do that.
gollark: It's probably *doable*, though my code would be more annoying, but why?
