gollark: You could use one of those "smart plug" things or possibly a relay somehow.

gollark: I don't know about the serial thing, but what you *can* do is use a Raspberry Pi with a video capture thing (there are these dirt-cheap Chinese HDMI input sticks, or a HDMI to CSI thing which exists for some reason) and also make it emulate a USB keyboard/mouse.
gollark: You don't get IPMI in nonserver stuff mostly.
gollark: Well, it would be "using" cats if it involved strapping cameras to cats or something.
