Galaxy (sculpture)
Galaxy is an outdoor sculpture by Alexander Liberman, installed outside Oklahoma City's Leadership Square, in the U.S. state of Oklahoma.[1]

Description
The abstract (geometric) welded steel sculpture is approximately 45 feet (14 m) tall and 27 feet (8.2 m) wide. It is painted red and weighs 14 tons.[1]
History
The sculpture was commissioned by Leadership Properties, Inc. It was constructed at the artist's studio in Connecticut and relocated to Oklahoma City in three pieces. The work was surveyed by the Smithsonian Institution's "Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in 1994.[1]
