Overview

The show premiered on GMA Cebu on 20 April 2020 and is simulcast on GMA 11 Bohol, GMA 10 Tacloban and GMA 12 Ormoc.[1] It marked the return of GMA Regional TV's return on producing morning news programs five years after its predecessor Buena Mano Balita went off the air following the a strategic streamlining of programs and manpower in its provincial stations.[2] GMA Regional TV Live! boasts of segments that highlight positive features and stories of people, specifically that of Kapusong Bisdak or Cebuanos.[3]

GMA Regional TV Live! is also re-aired for national viewers under GMA News TV's primetime block "GMA Regional TV Strip" on a weekly basis. It airs every Friday at 10:00 PM since May 22, 2020.[4]
