Personnel
gollark: If you become an ultrahypermegaplatinum™ donator for just £2500, I can buy an RTX 3090 (and better server hardware) and run up to about 10-billion-parameter models.
gollark: osmarks.net's main server's GPU can handle models of up to around 700 million parameters.
gollark: You might not *need* a giant model for all applications, task performance scales oddly with model size.
gollark: However, good luck getting GPUs for that.
gollark: EleutherAI are releasing their 20-billion-parameter model in about a week.
