Biography

Pre-debut

Felix was born and raised in Seven Hills, a western suburb of Sydney, Australia. He attended St Patrick's Marist College.[1] His family consists of his parents, an older sister, and a younger sister. In 2016, when Felix was shopping with his friends in Australia, he was invited to participate in the JYP audition in Australia. He was supposed to enter JYP at the same time as future Stray Kids member Hwang Hyunjin but delayed his departure from Australia in order to complete his education[b]. In February 2017, Felix became a JYP trainee[2] and began to study the Korean language. He starred in the Mnet survival reality show Stray Kids in 2017. Although Felix was eliminated due to performance flaws and insufficient Korean skills in the fourth mission, he received a second chance and made his debut in the final mission.

Debut

On 25 March 2018, Felix officially debuted with Stray Kids through Showcase "UNVEIL" and released their first mini-album "I am NOT" the following day. He has contributed to the songwriting of several of Stray Kids's songs since debut in 2018.[3]

Beginning in July 2019, he was the host of Pops in Seoul; he left the show in January 2020 due to scheduling conflicts.[4]
