Everybody (DJ BoBo song)

"Everybody" is a 1994 song by Swiss artist DJ BoBo. The single is taken from the 1993 album, Dance With Me, and reached number-one in Finland. It also reached number 2 in Germany, number 3 in Switzerland, number 8 in Iceland and number 10 in the Netherlands. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Everybody" peaked at number 10. Outside Europe, the song peaked at number 4 in Israel and number 85 in Australia. The female singer is Emel Aykanat. The single sold to Platinum in Germany.[1]

The female vocals on "Everybody" are from Jennifer Rüesch. In 2002, DJ BoBo released "Everybody" as a duet with Swedish singer Emilia on his album, Celebration. And in 2015, a new version of the song, remixed by Mike Candys and featuring Romanian singer Inna was released.

Music video

The music video of "Everybody" was directed by Italian director Giacomo De Simone. It was shot in Porto Venere in Italy.[2] It features DJ BoBo performing the song while driving an old car. Other scenes show the singer singing and dancing with people in the city of Porto Venere. De Simone has directed music videos for many other Eurodance acts, like Corona, Ice MC and Whigfield.
