Erqi Memorial Tower
The Erqi Memorial Tower or called Erqi Tower (Chinese: 二七纪念塔; pinyin: Èrqī Jìniàntă) is located in the centre of Zhengzhou city, Henan province, China. It was historically the tallest tower in the city, but not anymore.
History
The current Erqi Memorial Tower was completed in September 1971. It is the memorial of the Erqi Strike (二七大罢工), which occurred on February 7, 1923. It has 14 floors and is 63 meters high.[1]
