Release and reception

Williams found herself without a record label[1] and turned to Kickstarter to fund this recording.[2] For AllMusic Guide, Marcy Donelson gave the album a positive review, praising the line-up of guest musicians and Williams' cover of "Johnny Appleseed" in particular.[1] In the Colorado Springs Independent, Loring Wirbel criticizes her "noticeable formula" for songwriting but concludes that the album is, "her most cohesive set since 2003's The Beauty of the Rain".[2]

Personnel

gollark: Bytecode. Lua supports bytecode.
gollark: Oh, it already sort of did that.
gollark: Eventually™ it could contain a cryptopotatographic signature, as I said, thus allowing updates to be verified remotely.
gollark: I suppose I can add a configuration setting where it says "EndOS 3" instead of "PotatOS 6.2".
gollark: The *bottom* line just contains the hash of the *top* line now, for verification purposes.
