History and redevelopment

Eastgate Bondi Junction opened in 1983 and included Coles, Kmart and now Aldi as the major tenants. There used to be a Harris Farm in the level below Kmart in basement car parking but this closed in 2018 with a larger, modern Harris Farm opening in the Westfield opposite Coles, down the road.

In 1995, the centre was acquired by ISPT Super Property and is managed by JLL.[2][3]

Redevelopment

In March 2013, Eastgate Bondi Junction underwent a redevelopment with the mezzanine level and amenities refurbished and an Aldi Supermarket and many new stores added.[4] Some existing stores including Lowes, The Reject Shop and Just Cuts were refurbished. There is now currently a KFC, Sababba Israeli food, Habitana, Australia Post, Liquorland, Costi's Seafood, and Bakers Delight.
