Eastern League Pitcher of the Year Award

The Eastern League Pitcher of the Year Award is an annual award given to the best pitcher in minor league baseball's Eastern League. In 1985, Brad Arnsberg won the first ever award.

Five players from the New Haven Ravens/New Hampshire Fisher Cats have been selected for the award, more than any other team in the league, followed by the Binghamton Mets/Rumble Ponies and Portland Sea Dogs (4); the Albany-Colonie Yankees/Richmond Flying Squirrels, Bowie Baysox, Glens Falls Tigers/Trenton Thunder, Nashua Pirates/Harrisburg Senators and Vermont Reds/Akron Aeros (3); the New Britain Rock Cats/Hartford Yard Goats (2); and the Altoona Curve, Erie SeaWolves, Hagerstown Suns, Reading Phillies, and Williamsport Bills (1).

Four players from the Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox Major League Baseball (MLB) organizations have won the award, more than any other, followed by the Colorado Rockies, New York Mets, and New York Yankees organizations (3); the Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Montreal Expos/Washington Nationals, Pittsburgh Pirates, Seattle Mariners, and Toronto Blue Jays organizations (2); and the Cincinnati Reds, Florida Marlins, Minnesota Twins, Philadelphia Phillies, and San Francisco Giants organizations (1).
