"Eagles Fly" is a song written and performed by Sammy Hagar from his album I Never Said Goodbye. It was released in October 1987 as the third single from the album. It peaked at number 82 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and at number 22 on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks.[1]

While Eddie Van Halen is credited as the bass player for the entire album, it was revealed in 2015, that he also played guitar for a brief section in the solo of "Eagles Fly". [2]
