Dynamsoft provides a line of TWAIN scanning and document imaging SDKs. At the core are two document scanning SDKs optimized for web and DotNET desktop applications respectively.

  • Dynamic Web TWAIN is browser-based TWAIN scanning SDK for embedding document scanning, editing, and uploading and saving capabilities for images captured within web applications. It supports all mainstream browsers on Windows, macOS, Linux and mobile. In June 2020, The Dynamic Web TWAIN software development kit (SDK) has been modified by Dynamsoft beginning with version 16, users can grab documents from a browser on an Android or iPhone device, or for iPad.[1]

  • Dynamic .NET TWAIN is a .NET SDK with components in C# and VB .NET for developers to embed a document scanning module easily and rapidly in WinForms and WPF desktop applications.

The core SDKs are offered with a variety of complementary add-on SDKs that are used in conjunction.

  • Webcam Capture add-on enables precise control over webcams, including controlling video quality, pan, tilt, zoom, roll, exposure and more.
  • Text Recognition OCR add-on converts text in scanned images to text that can be fully used.
  • PDF Rasterizer add-on enables converting a PDF file into an image file (JPEG, TIF, PDF, PNG etc.) for viewing and printing.

gollark: If technically not "more than 50%".
gollark: Well, yes, but it's still *quite a lot*.
gollark: And yet tons voted for him?
gollark: My issue with it isn't "oh no people PAY DIRECTLY for HEALTHCARE" but that it's a horrible wasteful mess.
gollark: This is somewhat true, but broken general governance leads to stuff like the ÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆæÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆaÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆææÆÆÆÆÆÆÆæ healthcare system.
