Cast

Critical reception

The reviews to the film were rarely all negative, blaming the script and lack of comedy. The film had a poor opening. Many people saw it as a crude remake of the blockbuster Home alone, while lacking the humor and emotional depth of Home Alone.[2]

Box office

Dum Kata made only about Rs.342,000 at the box office. It was declared not a flop but a 'disaster' by Box Office India due to the lacklustre business.
