Publication history

Domination is a play-by-mail game.[1] It is a closed-end fantasy game.[2]

Gameplay

In Domination, players act as "nobles clashing for control over a continent thrown into turmoil by the death of the emperor".[2] According to Jim Townsend, "economics ... is the most difficult part of the game".[2] Unit types are: foot troops, archers, cavalry, ships, and security.[2] Food and durables are the commodities that players can manipulate, with different uses related to units and provinces.[2]

According to Terry Piediscalzzi, "most Domination games last about 25 turns".[3]

Reviews

gollark: Two access points or a cable is probably going to be better than one really powerful one.
gollark: Alpine Linux is a neat lightweight distro.
gollark: I generally work with languages high-level enough that poking at RAM would be unhelpful, and projects simple enough that I can just `print` a lot.
gollark: You *can* learn programming just with free resources and open-source stuff, but this does seem useful for actually hosting your projects.
gollark: I mean, "worth" is probably wrong if they just give it to people for free, but the cloud hosting credits do seem nice.
