Dior (song)

"Dior" is a song by American rapper Pop Smoke. Produced by British producer 808Melo, it was first released on Pop Smoke's debut mixtape Meet the Woo on July 26, 2019, but it was issued as a single for his sophomore effort Meet the Woo 2. "Dior" holds the sole distinction of being included on all three of Pop Smoke's commercial releases, including Meet the Woo, Meet the Woo 2, and Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon, serving as a bonus track on the latter two. It is the only song by Pop Smoke that appears on multiple projects.

Remix

The official remix of the song, featuring American rapper Gunna, appears on the deluxe edition of Meet the Woo 2, which was released a couple days after the original one.[3][4]

Legacy

Although the song is not about police brutality or racism, it has become a popular anthem used during the George Floyd protests as a symbol of resistance.[1]

"Dior" will be featured on the soundtrack of the upcoming basketball simulation video game NBA 2K21.[5]
