Dewaitha (also spelled Devaitha) is a village in Dildarnagar kamsar in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. The Dewaitha village is also known as the village of Doctors because most of the people in dewaitha village are doctors by profession or are P.H.D .

History

[2] Dewaitha village was established by Raja-e-Daudpur jagirdar Sarkar Diwan Daud Khan Zamindar bahadur in year 1637AD. Dewaitha village was before known as Daudpur When this region came into the zamindari of Daud khan, a Great grandson of (Narhar deo Rao) Narhar khan the founder of the Kamsar Pathans.[3] Daud khan had only one son name as Bahbal khan but he had five great grand son who established Athoghar, Cheheo ghar, dewaitha west side and dewaitha east side and fifth founded Rasulpur Newada village. When Daud came to this region he made a mosque in village which is also referred as the centre of the village, for representing his religion Islam. Know the mosque build by Daud khan is named as purani Masjid by the people. There is also one very old duwara(A old guest house or community centre) name as Daud khan ka Duwara build in 1637AD. It is said that Duwara's were made on the entrance of any house for treating guest. The village also have remains of Daud khan's house.

Dewaitha village have an average annual rainfall of 1155mm. Dewaitha village is located on Gazipur district to Ramgarh thesil Bhabua road.In agriculture Dewaitha village stands on high position the total area of the village is 3022 acres out of which the total crop producing area of village in 2650 Acres.The dewaitha village is located on the banks of karamnasa river and a local river Eiknaiya and its triburitties. The village have 32 ponds which covers more than 20 acres of land, The main population of the village lives in 103 Acres. Mango farms, Guava Farms and other tree farms occupy 260 Acres of land in the village and some of land is occupied by canals, tributaries and other rest 2650Acres is crop production area. The water level of the village is 80 foot deep. The soil of the village is very good a farmer can easily earn ₹32000 per acre by growing wheat.Crops like Paddy, wheat(2 types),Rice(4 types),maize,Jowar, Bajra ,alsi, urd, moong, Arhar, Groundnut, Til, Sugarcane, Barley, gram, pea, Masoor, mustard,corn and all other vegetables and fruits grow in Gazipur district, Buxar and Dildarnagar kamsar are grown.There are more than 50 tractors in village, fifteen combine harvesters,two balers,plows and four J.C.B for harvesting the crops and other harvesting related activities.Thehe village have six brick making campany, Catelrearing, poultry farming, fishrearing, fertilizeand pesticides makingng,two Dall mills, one rice mill and one cold storage.The village have two English medium private schools,one government school,two Urdu medium schools and one government secondary schoo. There are five madarsa,four mosques and two temples in the village. The SKBM degree college is located 8.3 km from the village. Nearest railway station is Dildarnagar junction railway station which is 7.1 km and darauli railway station 7.3 km far from the village. The village have three tributaries and the breath of karamnasa river is 265 foot in village which is good for taking water. The river front of the village in 4.6 km. The village have two playground and one Eidgah.Some People of dewaitha village also have solar pannels in their house and there is also one solar pannels making campany located near to the village.Thehe village have one post office and State Bank of India and Allahabad bank A.t.m.The village also have many solar tubewells.Nearly 10% of the people are farmer and 30% of the people are in police or Army. Nearby places from the village- Fufuaon(4.4km),Tiyari(3.8km),Jaburna (2.9km) ,Dildarnagar (12km), Saraila (4.6km), chitarkoni (5.9km), mircha(5.4km),Zamania(17km), Gazipur (43km).
