Dera, Dero, Daro, Dhoro, Dahar or Dehra is a Pashto, Balochi, Sindhi, Gujarati, Kutchi, Saraiki, Punjabi, and Dogri-language word meaning camp, mound or settlement. In Punjabi, it is usually used as a place where men meet and socialize in the village.
