Lebbeke

Lebbeke (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈlɛbeːkə]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders in the Denderstreek. The municipality comprises the towns of Denderbelle, Lebbeke proper and Wieze. On January 1, 2006, Lebbeke had a total population of 17,608. The total area is 26.92 km² which gives a population density of 654 inhabitants per km². Lebbeke is home to the chocolate factory Callebaut.
