History
Davao ACF Bus Lines was established in Davao City by Mr. Flutarco Sison-Fontanilla in 1969. When it was founded, its routes covered before are Davao-Compostela, Davao-New Bataan, Davao-Mati and Davao-Sigaboy. It also served city shuttle routes within Davao City in the 1970's until 1995.
The company was relaunched in 1983 under the leadership of Antonio C. Fontanilla, abandoning its previous routes altogether and transferring to its present route of Davao-Malita-Don Marcelino. To date, the company operates under a franchise with 25 authorized units.
Destinations
Davao ACF Bus Lines had its main hub in Davao City Overland Transport Terminal in Davao City.[1] The towns of Malita and Don Marcelino in Davao Occidental are its primary destinations from Davao, while the city of Digos in Davao del Sur serves as its secondary destination.
Fleet
Davao ACF Bus Lines used to operate second-hand units acquired from other bus lines across the Philippines, as well as a number of buses acquired directly from Santarosa Motor Works based in Luzon. But in 2016 it began replacing its old fleet of dilapidated buses with brand new buses acquired from Yutong, Asiastar, Sunlong and Zhongtong.
