Schippers has won two doubles titles on the ITF tour in her career. On 11 November 2013, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 1,103. On 18 November 2013, she peaked at world number 531 in the doubles rankings.

Since her debut for the Guatemala Fed Cup team in 2010, Schippers has a 18–12 record in international competition.[3]

She was studied at Florida State University, between 2013-2017.[4]

Schippers has an older sister Paulina who is also a tennis player.
